I am a professional Yiddish translator, teacher, and scholar in Toronto, ON—New York, NY. My translations and writings have been published widely and featured in various projects from documentaries to scholarly work. I have taught all levels of Yiddish language and Yiddish literature at institutions like Columbia University, the Max Weinreich Center for Advanced Jewish Studies, and the Uriel Weinreich Summer Program.

I received my BA in Germanic Literature (Yiddish) at the University of Chicago, as well as my MA and MPhil in Germanic Languages at Columbia University. I am currently a PhD researcher in the Department of Near & Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Toronto.
